Celebrating World Down Syndrome Day 2017

21/03/2017

Tuesday the 21st of March is World Down Syndrome Day and Reuben wanted to celebrate this great day by sharing with you, his loyal readers, everything in the world that makes him happy and what he does to make others happy. He designed a t-shirt using his own handwriting font too to celebrate the day, see him modelling it in style below.

  • I am always happy
  • I love to laugh
  • I love to sing
  • I love to hug people
  • Being with my family makes me happy
  • Everyone loves me
  • I am a gift from God
  • My family and my friends love me and I love them
  • I love me too, I’m so special
  • I love to eat nice food
  • I love travelling to see friends and family
  • I put on plays to make people happy
  • I always make people happy and make them laugh
  • I am always truthful
  • I make people happy by being myself
  • I am always part of everyone’s family
  • We are the world!!

97% of people with Down Syndrome are happy with themselves and with their lives.
